Osgled
Drawing from a diverse palette of experimental sounds, Osgled (Welsh for amplitude) blends ethereal, atmospheric textures with haunting, melancholic synths, layered beneath dreamy and expressive vocals. The result is an immersive soundscape that feels both otherworldly and intensely emotional, inviting listeners into a space of introspection, atmosphere, and feeling.
Projectionettes
Premiere of a newly founded film collective: Projectionettes. A feminist séance for damaged histories, obsolete technologies, and ghosts in the machine. An expanded anti-war film performance of found footage, hand-processed 16mm film, live sound, and analogue/digital projection. Artists Brenda Von Brendrey and Purplish Laila twist light, lenses and film into a live collision of flickering images, fractured memories and shifting perspectives.
ORWO/SCOTCH
A resurrection of the audio visual performance which premiered at Supernormal Festival 2017! Expressive possibility of playing with light/16mm film from BEEF artists: Matt Davies, Melanie Clifford. Multiple 16mm projections accompanied by experimental tape loops from George Mackenzie (Motes) and improvised percussion from Bristol eminent drummer Dan Jonson (MARCY, EP/64)
David Hopkinson and Paul Hanson
Dark Fox
Special Halloween inspired performance from the legend that is Michael Smith aka Dark Fox; a tiresome autistic perfectionist who has been creating an empire surrounding his animated furry DeviantArt dark-sci-fi grotesque violent hyper-sexual vision, DARK FOX, running entirely on pink-milk, biscuits and a Vitamin D deficiency.
