Composer and multi-instrumentalist Fabio Ferri marks the release of his album Transfiguration with an immersive, one-off show at the Cube Microplex. A Bristol-based artist blending contemporary jazz, classical and electronic sounds, Ferri creates unclassifiable music that grooves as much as it experiments.

For this special night, Ferri’s band joins forces with Undergrowth Collective, pairing live performance with installation and choreography to create a modern counterpart to the early 20th-century collaborations of Stravinsky, Satie and Picasso — a multimedia performance where music, dance and visual art converge.

Expect an evening where groove meets culture: a contemporary, cross-disciplinary performance connecting nature, ballet, jazz, electronics and classical heritage.

Bristol 24/7 described Ferri’s work as a “journey through displacement, neurodivergence, academia and diverse musical genres”, while others have hailed him as “Bristol’s answer to Frank Zappa” and the band as “super energetic jazz” (BBC).

“This is fascinating and enriching songwriting” ★★★★ – Songlines

boci is a Bristol based violinist and songwriter creating alternative folk. Her use of violin loops, synths and effects pedals allows her to create cinematic, layered textures which evolve into dynamic and intricate arrangements. Classically trained, boci uses her violin freely and expressively as another voice, taking inspiration from traditional folk playing styles. boci's music is deeply connected to her relationship with the natural world and time spent walking in the mountains of Scotland, Wales and the Lake District.
