Welcome to the first Happenings and Killings event at The Cube, put together by Joe Volk.
Leafcutter John will be playing tracks from his fourth full length album ‘The Forest and The Sea’. Compositions feature a dynamic hybrid of electronic and acoustic songs bound together by a meticulous narrative enriched by haunting vocals, acoustic guitar, and traditional Greek instrumentation. Many may recognise the London-based artist as a full-time member of Mercury Music Prize nominee Polar Bear.
My Ambulance Is On Fire, Anton Maiof, DJ Antoni Maiovvi and the inventor of the Maiofphonic Workstation (TM) has been creating textural beds of sonic love for over 5 years. Tonight's performance will be a selection of electro-acoustic re-interpretation of songs from the forthcoming 100 Love Songs album.
Team Brick will not be performing any tracks from his new album, soon to be out on Invada Records. He will be doing something else.
To top things off, Punksi will be DJing in the bar throughout. Anyone attending will be able to get into famous club night Espionage on the cheap when The Cube shuts. Collect your passes at the door!
