30 years ago the world was introduced to Muriel Heslop (Toni Collette) and the world has never been the same...

Socially awkward Muriel wants nothing more than to get married. Unfortunately, thanks to her oppressive politician father (Bill Hunter), Muriel has never even been on a date. Ostracised by her more socially adept friends, Muriel runs into fellow outcast Rhonda (Rachel Griffiths), and the two move from their nowhere town of Porpoise Spit to the big city of Sydney, where Muriel begins the arduous task of redesigning her life to match her fantasies.

Muriel's Wedding has been a fiercely loved celebration of individuality, friendship and the healing power of Abba since it was first released - so come on down and celebrate with us! Wear your best wedding fancy dress and prepare to boogie as we'll have tunes spinning after the film for all dancing queens to enjoy.

THE GUARDIAN

“Bustling blend of wry humor and acerbic social satire”

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER

“An incredibly poignant film, both sweet and salty, with an excellent soundtrack that helped to kickstart the ABBA revival several years before Mamma Mia!”
