South London singer-storyteller Gecko, known for his sharp lyricism and evocative storytelling, tours his ambitious and expansive third album, The Big Picture, much praised for its unique blend of autobiographical and fictional narratives, and its warm, melodic sound.

'Playful but also emotionally piercing.'
Clash Magazine

Gecko's songs cover the big things in life with wit and warmth. From deep time to ignored characters in renaissance paintings, from pig fugitives to Duolingo streaks. His new album, The Big Picture, recorded with Mercury Prize Award-nominated producer Shuta Shinoda (GhostPoet, Hot Chip, Jehnny Beth, Anna Meredith) is a 'beautiful, warm, melodic, human record where tiny things become huge' (The Morning Star).

Gecko has performed across the world, including at Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, and the BAFTA-winning Sky Arts TV show Life & Rhymes. Gecko's songs have caused a stir on TikTok and Instagram, receiving millions of views and hardly any mean comments.

He's a work of art.'
Benjamin Zephaniah

'Vibrant and life affirming. With a luscious yet grounding artistry alongside charming yet contemplative lyricism, Gecko continues to allure us with each new release.'
EARMILK

'Witty lyricism, vibrant character building and a heartfelt reflection of life and fantasy.'
