Winner of the Press Trophy for excellence in journalism at the International Festival of Environmental Film and Video in Brazil, The Last Atomic Bomb focuses on the survivors of the 1945 bombing of Nagasaki and their legacy. With a compelling combination of recent interview material and rarely-seen archive footage, the film is a clear and impassioned call for the lessons of the 20th century not to be forgotten in the recently re-opened nuclear debate.
The Cube is very happy to welcome the film's producer, Kathleen Sullivan, to tonight's screening, where she will be hosting a talk about the making of the film and the issues it raises.
