At 11:30 am, on February 24th, Dale Cooper, FBI, entered Twin Peaks, a seemingly quaint, and genuinely idiosyncratic, Pacific north-west town permeated by dark, paranormal mysteries. Thus debuted a televisual phenomenon, an oddball masterpiece characterised by the uncompromising and unique vision of the late maverick David Lynch in all its surreal glory.

For Twin Peaks Day 2025, the CUBE Microplex, itself 'a place both wonderful and strange', brings a dark and twisted treat to its red velvet, wood panel interior; an absurdist, immersive, music-cabaret-party inspired, directly or indirectly, by the dark and beautiful world of Lynch's groundbreaking series.

We invite you to descend into the sweet yet sinister, to delve deep into shadow, and push yourselves to worlds perhaps too terrible to comprehend, perhaps too alluring to resist.

Celebrate in style, get in character , be crowned Miss Twin Peaks, and win some fantastical prizes. Grab a damn fine cup of coffee 'as black as midnight on a moonless night', a slice of cherry pie 'that'll kill you', or a coffee/cherry cocktail with a kick; decode the weird audio messages embedded 'in the air'; jump up and say 'hellooo oo oo!', 'speak a little bit of French', or share some psychic intimacy; swap trivia and challenge theories in the bar, soundtracked by some suitably Lynchian sounds. Awaken your inner Julee Cruise with ethereal karaoke.

Hosted by the suave MC's Richie Paradise and Lady Ray DhD, and peopled by luminaries of the Bristol music and cabaret scene, this is an outlandish, shapeshifting subterranean after-hours nightclub where nothing is quite as it seems.

'Give yourself a present' won't you, come with us through the red curtains, and allow yourselves to be bathed in unfeasible dreams and swallowed in secrets and mystery. Just let it happen. We'll see you here, but not if you see us first…
