Join us for an exciting concert of experimental contemporary classical music at the Cube Microplex. Featuring music from up-and-coming postgraduate composers at the University of Bristol; Composers will be performing their own work as part of Bristol’s new Middle Aisle Ensemble. This concert will see new pieces finding creative responses to the theme of austerity; be it re-imagining pre-existing compositions, writing for recycled instruments such as stylophone and retro keyboard, or placing limitations on your piece. This event should be an interesting take on how to write music when the resources aren’t available.
