Celebrate Valentines weekend at Cube with performances by some of Bristol’s most unique and inventive alternative acts, culminating in an extraordinary A/V live show by Saint Valentine himself.

Saint Valentine:

Freddie Lewis:

A rising trans artist from Bristol, has spent the past two years making a name for himself within the UK queer scene. His music uses thought-provoking lyricism, infectious hooks, and genuine emotion, drawing from jazz, pop and electronic influences. Since his debut single 'Growing Pains' in 2021, Freddie has received widespread support from the LGBTQ+ community in the UK, as well as being featured on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 6 Music, Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’, ‘Fresh Finds’ and ‘Our Generation’ playlists and earning a spot as a cover artist on Spotify's 'Transcend' playlist for four months. With many performances across the country, including renowned festivals like The Great Escape and Glastonbury, Freddie returned in late 2023 with his second E.P. ‘More Than That’, followed by a full band show at Iceland Airwaves.

Coreysan:

A Bristol based/Trinidad born musician and producer who describes his music as Alternative Caribbean Music. Earthy bass and soulful beats with raspy, deep soothing vocals and a storyteller approach to his lyrical compositions, reminiscent of Calypso, all combine to give his music a rootsy, thought provoking, bass driven and mysterious flavour. It was once described as dark and nourishing. As a session musician (bassist and vocalist), Corey has performed with various bands in the UK and Trinidad and Tobago. He has also toured extensively for 11 years with Calypso Rose on her world tours. He continually collaborates with bands and producers from Bristol, France and the UK of varied musical styles which in turn brings an eclectic diversity to his solo project and his flavour as a session musician.
