Crafted in his signature style, Wes Anderson’s latest has brought together his all-star repertory ensemble cast in a Sci-Fi caper framed by primary-pastel colours mixed with classic American pop culture. Asteroid City takes place in a fictional American desert town circa 1955 in which the itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition) is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.
