Join us for a ground breaking double bill at the Cube. Beginning with Indian Classical Raags recitals by a trio featuring some the worlds best Slide Guitar, Electric Guitar and Tabla. Highlighting the authentic long-form improvisation of that tradition. Then evolving into a fusion Quartet introducing elements of Jazz/Afro Cuban Rhythms into complex yet funky arrangements.
The diverse expertise and backgrounds of the groups members, enables a vast collection of styles and traditions from across the world to be assimilated seamlessly, with Indian Classical Music at its core.
The Attuned Trio & Quartet will take audiences deep into a magical world where the language of music takes us on a journey, with the ancient and the new hand in hand.

Omar Puente is on the worlds leading violinists and a well respected artist of the London Jazz and Latin music scene. He has played with Nigel Kennedy, Eddie Palmieri, and collaborated on a jazz project with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Among other well known musicians he has played with are guitarist John Williams, pianist Robert Mitchell, Jools Holland, Kirsty MacColl, Ibrahim Ferrer and Omara Portuondo of the Buena Vista Social Club. Puente is a regular member of the band of saxophonist Courtney Pine, who produced his debut solo album From There to Here (2009).
Manish is amongst a few leading Indian slide guitar players of India. He has performed in prestigious music festivals in India, showcased his talent worldwide and is a leading disciple of Ustad Shahid Parvez, the renowned sitar maestro. Manish’s album CALL OF THE BLUES with Michael Messer was leading the Transglobal world music chart for three consecutive months. It also topped iTunes UK for two consecutive months.
Gurdain Rayatt is a past disciple of Pandit Shankar Ghosh and now Pandit Yogesh Samsi. He’s one of the UK’s leading tabla players, having accompanied many of India’s most prestigious artists such as Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Pandit Kushal Das, Pandit Debashish Bhattacharya, Anoushka Shankar, Niladri Kumar, Kala Ramnath, Purbayan Chatterjee to name a few.
Jack is one the few professional guitarists who fully adapt Indian classical music to their instrument. He is disciple of sitar virtuoso's Roopa Panesar and Shakir Parvez Khan and teaches hundreds of students around the world via his Indian Classical Guitar Academy. He has appeared on Kuljit Bhamra’s album ‘Raga & Tala’ and held a master-class residency along side Pandit Sanju Sahai and Chandra Chakraborti. His other band Nataraja features Andy Edwards and John Jowitt, takes Indian Raags into high energy Rock/Fusion.
Shanti Jayasinha is a highly sought after Jazz and World multi-instrumentalist. He has worked with legendary Cuban pianists Frank Emilio Fly, Ruben Gonzalez and Cachaito from the Buena Vista Club and with Chocolate Armenteros in New York. On the London scene he has worked with Jyotsna Srikanth, John Mayer’s Indo-Jazz Fusions, Gregori Schechter’s Klezmer Festival Band, Kuljit Bhamra, Gilad Atzmon, Tim Garland and Courtney Pine.
