PREPARE TO STOP

Sat 30 April 2022 // 12:00
Tickets: £3 or pay more if you wish, that will be kind
Music, artists and visualizations in slow motion – but still swinging. Together. Altering the influences. See below for more details on those involved.
Creating an abundance of time and space for all kinds of experiences, perceptions and movement, Prepare To Stop is an 13 hour deep listening and light experience. It's a soft focus, down tempo, wrap around situation for the mind, the body and all the holes.
Opens at mid-day until 1am.
The invite is to enter the ambient state, The Microplex, when you are good and ready. Then get looser among the beautiful, questioning and abstracted long-form musics, the drifting projections, the re-positioned sound system, the sweet spots, the 3 minute hourly silences and those crafting away from the adrenalised day2day. Your uncompelled to do much but slow down, get your feet washed and re-calibrate.
If it's rush hour all the time, if we want everything delivered now, if where you want to go doesn't want you there, if its it all about me, me, me - here is some faulty, diminished, seasonal old Us. We are responsible for you and you for us.
Prepare To Stop is a co-created event that experiments with earthly and cosmological conversations and dreamtime. Preparation for tricky and troubled times is tantamount. Lie down a while. Close the eyes. Sup a chilled one. Ease down the gears. Slow dance. Volunteer your senses and be prepared to stop. It aint easy but we are doing it together.
