Cables & Cameras + Mandem

-
Wed 12 December 2018 // 19:30

Tickets: £4 (full) / £3 (concession)

This event will be the final C&C act of the year, so we made it special by collaborating with the MANDEM bringing to the Microplex a selection of short films, discussions, chats and a space to meet up.

A panel discussion hosted by Adam Murray ( Come The Revolution ) will succeed the screening with Timon Williams and Pierre Niyongira.

MANDEM is an online platform that offers a unique space for young men of colour to express themselves through writing, music and film.  It's a safe space for young people to engage in topical discussions centred around culture, politics and identity, while further encouraging them to challenge the narratives that appear in mainstream media.

Cables&Cameras would just like to say thanks to all the filmmakers and supporters that have made this year a truly great experience. We will be back in 2019 with a few new additions to the night.

The event is open to both professional and amateur filmmakers, including anyone with an interest in film.
