A fun and inventive evening exploring the ways in which we can alter our states of consciousness via the means of intention, performance and theatrics!
How can we shift our perception of reality and how can performance encourage us to enter into an altered state of consciousness or expand our awareness?
featuring...
MAMMY, a Butoh performance by Paul Michael Henry
Breastmilk & viscera sprayed all around.
Mammy daddy help me remember I’m dancing.
Pals we’ve forgotten our origins!
(But I think I know where the nipple went).
Crawl back with me.
Shibari (Japanese Rope Bondage) from Transcendent Ties
plus poetry, clowning, dance, improvised music and cabaret performance!
A range of performance practitioners explore, through live art, the ways in which we can create a symbiotic relationship between the spectator and performer that allows us to shift our perceived reality. Our intention is to create a cabaret space for weird, trippy, experimental and mind expanding performance to be seen and heard, whilst also creating the chance for the psychedelic community of Bristol to come together.
