En Masse returns to Bristol in 2022.

On Tuesday 20th September, we return to The Cube to bring you the official En Masse 2022 opening night, easing us into a week-long programme full of artists presenting visual and sonic experimentations.

The Cube is a community built microplex with a DIY attitude. The volunteer run cinema has incredible acoustics, which create a unique, immersive listening and viewing experience. Those who came last year will remember how sensory those performances were.

In 2022, the night will offer sets which include live instrumentals, digital and analogue equipment and accompanying visuals cast on The Cube’s cinema screen. Additionally, this year will include screenings from local filmmakers.

Join us early for drinks at the bar and to grab the best seat in the house, in The Cube’s lush auditorium. Doors open at 19:00, with performances beginning at 19:30.

Leif

Robbie & Mona is a couple-duet making scrap-book glitch pop together. The duet’s
music expertly toes the line between deep emotional resonance and alienating disarray. With notes that their creative influences derive largely from film, The Cube is an appropriate setting to engage with their sonic creations.

Leif has spent the past decade exploring electronic music as a vehicle for meditation and reflection. His sound is always evolving, over a series of acclaimed releases. Subtlety Leif’s productions have shifted from house and techno towards the more abstract . Leif’s live, ambient set debuted in 2020, and is constantly evolving, which may not come as a surprise.
