The Cube is majorly excited to be able to present Japanese psychedelic masters Kikagaku Moyo on the cusp of the release of their latest album. With superb support from The Evil Usses & Taos Humm this is destined to be one helluva gig!

Kikagaku Moyo call their sound “psychedelic” because it encompasses a broad spectrum of influence. Their music incorporates elements of classical Indian music, Kraut Rock, Traditional Folk, and 70s Rock. Most importantly their music is about freedom of the mind and body and building a bridge between the supernatural and the present. Improvisation is a key element to their sound.

Kikagaku Moyo play music to ignite your soul and foster euphoria. Their songs compel you to let your hair down, throw your arms in the air and smile.

Add to that a set from Bristol's The Evil Usses playing their distinctive rocky notjazz, jazzy notrock, post-op pop, notmuch and a lot else ...

The Evil Usses

The Evil Usses have a great album out on Stolen Body Records and are brilliant live, as succinctly put by Roberto Oggiano, Outsidersmusica:

"The Evil Usses, in spite of powerful and processed writing, show their best live, deconstructing, assembling and rebuilding their pieces in front of the public, as if to involve them in their creative process, each time differently depending on the mood."

As if that wasn't enough, we've lined up Stolen Body Records stablemates Taos Humm to set things off.

They're a Bristol-based three-piece freak-out garage n psych band with the capabilities to bring you to the depths of depravity and swing you back up with your ass shaking. A full LP is in the works for 2016 and will be released with Howling Owl Records.

The Schwet DJs will be providing their excellent taste in music in the bar. Top.
