CASHIER ESCAPE ROUTE features four artists that work on the front-line of the capitalist/servant interface: IRIS (no location), LAURENT LA GAMBA (Los Angeles/France [first UK show]), BRIAN DEAN of ANXIETY CULTURE (Chester) and OTTO (Bristol/London).

Cultural mythologies, panoptical surveillance, pro-cryptic installations/camouflage - digital prints, screen prints, photographs and photocopies negate and explore the anxieties/behaviours hidden beneath the smiling mask of "customer service" and supermarket experience.
