January 2006: Rob Jessup - I cant think of a title because everything I think of has been done before.

I used to do photographs on their own  then realised that i missed making things with my hands - and making work quickly as i have an impatient nature.  I've made some canvases and ready mades from left over house paint and theres a bit of montage with newspapers and old personal photos theres some text as well nothing too pretentious. The work  is about modern life and modern culture being a bit shit  thats nothing new or 'challenging' but is a subject close to my heart - I hope grumpy people and cheerful people alike  will like it - which should go down well at the cube eh!?
