Some of you may still get terrifying flashbacks from that time we screened TURKISH STAR WARS a few years back - well, bad luck! We're heading back to Anadolu!

Turkish trash cinema is jam-packed with hyper-kinetic, mind-smooshing, copyright-infringing delirium. It's a cult cinema enthusiasts dream/wasteland.

Amongst the army of unlicensed remakes produced in Turkey, there's at least three rip-off versions of "Rambo”, and our lead film tonight is our favourite one: "VAHSI KAN" (1983). From the same director and lead star of TURKISH STAR WARS, this demented version of "First Blood" ticks all the boxes: Non-stop action? Check. Break-neck editing speed? check. Constant baffling confusion? Check. All key scenes from the Stallone film reproduced in a terrible way? Check.

As always it's a double-bill, so stick around for another film by this director/star "dream team" that concerns a tough cop and an army of supernatural ninjas.
